Captain Chris Neugin
Captain Chris Neugin is a born and raised lifetime local. Growing up in a house on Boggy Bayou, part of Choctawhatchee Bay, instilled a deep passion for the water and fishing. He got his first small boat at the age of 12, which he and his friends used to fish every piece of water between Pensacola and Panama City. From there, he started his first job at age 14 as a deckhand on the Destin fishing vessel Lady Evinthia, the sister ship to the New Florida Girl which still operates today. At age 18 he obtained his OUPV (6-Pack) Captains License and began guiding for Back Country Outfitters in Destin. He worked as a parasail and fishing captain for the next few years during the summers while in college at Embry Riddle in Daytona Beach, FL where he graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Science. At age 21, he upgraded his license to a 100 Ton Master Captain with an endorsement for Sail and Assistance Towing. When college was over, he continued down a dual career path, working as a flight instructor on Eglin AFB, and freelancing as a Captain for the Destin fishing fleet. At age 25, while working as a pilot for Comair, he became the Fleet Master and Lead Captain for AJ's in Destin. Soon after he met his wife Brandi, who blessed him with their amazing Daughter Brinley. He was hired as a pilot by American Airlines in 2010 where he continues his aviation career to this day. Now as the Founder and Owner of Strikers Inshore Fishing Company, he continues his lifelong passion for fishing, flying, and sharing this amazing area we call home.

Captain Joe Miron
Captain Joe, born and
raised in Fort Walton Beach, has had a passion for fishing since he was a kid. Growing up on the Emerald Coast he has always enjoyed anything water related including fishing, diving, spear fishing, and duck hunting to name a few. With over 30 years of fishing experience and over 7 years running charters he has fished from Alaska to Mexico and everything in between. His extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor are always a recipe for a good time on the water!
